The loss I feel
The loss I feel everyday,
chips away at my faith,
my hope,
my wear with all.
The loss I feel everyday,
reminds me to fight,
hold on,
and don't let go.
The loss I feel everyday,
can control my heart and soul,
crushing me,
silencing any spark of happiness in me.
The loss I feel everyday,
makes me stronger,
to fight for my friends,
and protect those I love.
The loss I feel everyday,
rips me to the core,
steals my dreams,
and gives me nothing but heartache.
The loss I feel everyday,
makes me a better advocate,
mother,
and wife.
Because it reminds me, my life is a fight, worth winning.
My name is Orange and I love your poem, you're a strong woman. I was looking at the Casco Bay church website and saw your postings. I'm a disciple from Los Angeles Int'l Churches of Christ. =)I want to share this scripture with you...
ReplyDeletePsalm 73:25-26 NLT
"Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever."
Love it.
